Sire Rubioso N Had over 50 wins and placings at the highest national levels and several wins with juniors including championship medals. He also brings in some very successful athletic genetics from top jumper producer Alme and top eventer producer Vollkorn xx on his dam line. Dam sire Silvano N was a Dutch Olympic team horse for Ellen Bontje with many wins and placings including World Cup finals. He went on to produce versatile offspring that competed at the highest levels in dressage and jumping.

Rassolini is a Grand Prix Dressage stallion with a solid temperament and offspring competing up to Grand Prix Dressage, as well as in Eventing and Jumping. Owned by Detlef Ruddat Rassolini competed with Kathrin Meyer zu Strohen. At the 2008 World Young Horse Championships in Verden and the Bundeschampionat Finals in Warendorf, Rassolini finished fourth, at both events. A year later Kathrin Meyer zu Strohen and Rassolini were champions in the 6-year old Bundeschampionat. Rassolini scored a 9 for trot and 8.5 for walk and canter to average 8.5 in total winning the 6 yr old German National Championship. In 2010 he won one of the biggest tournaments, The Nurnberger Burgpokal Finals at the 2010 CDI-W Frankfurt. In 2012, Rassolini made his Intermediaire II debut at Isernhagen.

In December 2013, Vantage Equestrian Group, a syndicate of 10 people around investors Ann Romney, Beth Meyer and Amy Ebeling, acquired Rassolini as the successor for Jan Ebeling's 2012 Olympic mount Rafalca and his new 2016 Rio Olympics candidate. Ebeling and Rassolini made their international Grand Prix debut in 2014, and Ebeling last competed with him at the CDI Del Mar in April 2017. “I’m so thrilled and honored to have this opportunity with one of the best horses in the world,” Jan told dressage-news.com. “This is so exciting not only for us but for dressage in America to have a horse of this quality.”

We think it is exciting once again, now for American breeders!

In January 2018 Rassolini was sold to Christina Morgan as young rider horse for Christian Simonson, who at that time was a 2017 N.A. Junior & Young Riders Championships team gold, individual silver and freestyle bronze medalist. The new duo made their CDI debut in March 2018 in Del Mar and went to the 2018 North American Young Riders Championships, where they won the team silver medal. Rassolini has since retired from sport and is now available at stud full time. Rassolini is available with excellent fresh WFFS free semen.
