Top Holsteiner stallion offered in the USA
Urthago was approved as a stallion by the Holsteiner Verband at the 2019 in Neumünster , where he was considered as one of the crowd favorites.

He possesses nearly perfect conformation and has unlimited capacity at the jump. He is a super modern horse for today and tomorrows breeding of international jumping horses.

Urthago has a very unique pedigree and descends from one of the best motherliness in the world , Holsteiner stamm 474a. His father Uriko , is one of the top breeding stallions in his age group while jumping to the Grand Prix level himself. His mother’s father, MyLord Carthago , is currently the 4th ranked sire in the world on the current WBFSH ranking. His great grandmother is none other than full sister of the legendary Cavalier Royale.

His first two foal crops showed his top potential as a sire in immense ways. They inherited his beautiful modern type , super topline , correct conformation and his exceptional canter. Three out of his first 9 foals were selected for the German Foal Championships.

The former breeding director of the Holsteiner Verband , Dr. Nissen , wrote this about Urthago after his approval. “ Urthago’s top correctness and conformation make it easy for him to show super movements in all 3 gaits. Walk is elastic and well balanced , especially trot and canter are top quality because of the super active hind end and this you could see especially in jumping. In jumping , the stallion is demonstrating a top forward canter with a perfect bascule and reflexes in combination with top scope. His very exclusive pedigree also shows his big value as a breeding stallion and a sport horse."
