PF's Ucalido is a 10 year old, Chestnut, Oldenburg Stallion who is Fully Licensed with Holsteiner Verband. N/N WFFS. Ucalido was imported to the USA during the fall of 2022 by Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses. Ucalido was successfully licensed with Holsteiner Verband during the late summer of 2022, where he earned top merits and comments during his licensing. We are very pleased to welcome this very special sire to our sport horse stallion line-up. Ucalido's world class pedigree closely relates to some of the breeding world's most important sport horse breeding members and international horses in sport.

Ucalido will only begin his breeding career in 2023 as his path this far has been focusing on his performance, where he has successfully campaigned in Europe his entire career, under rider Sarah Nagel-Tornau. Ucalido has competed in the intermediate jumpers to the high performance of FEI Show Jumping competitions, including competing successfully in the 1.40 meter jumper division. Ucalido is a stallion who is in a class of his own, showcasing great talent, rideability, scope, style, athleticism, correctness and willingness to work. He has also has been campaigned by an amateur rider, which is a crowning quality for a stallion. All of his great qualities will surely pass on to his future offspring. Ucalido truly is a 'one of a kind' in many ways, from his world class pedigree which is unique in the US and Canada, to his abundance of talent's. We are thrilled to welcome this incredible sire to our stallion line-up here at Ryan Pedigo Sport Horses. We proudly announce that for the first time the start of the 2023 breeding season Ucalido will be offered to US, Canadian and breeders abroad.

Ucalido's Sire, Udarco Van Overis, the international sire and sport horse, campaigned very successfully to the 1.60-meter jumpers under rider's Marc Van Dijck and Sarah Nagel-Tornau. He had lots of jumping scope and athleticism and stamped his offspring with these great qualities. Udarco Van Overis breeding legacy lives strongly in his numerous progeny who have competed at the highest levels in the sport. Some of his best known offspring include: Uncas S - 1.60 meter jumpers, Uringa Z - 1.50 meter jumpers, Janice - 1.50 meter jumpers, Umbrella Ter Wilgen Z - 1.50 meter jumpers and Oveido S. Udarco Van Overis is the famous son of the Belgian top sire Darco known as one the Europe's most legendary and influential sires spanning over the last many decades. His numerous accomplishments include; earning a 7th at the CSI Beervelde Grand Prix in 2007, 5th at the Sires of the World CSI Hasselt in 2008, 7th at the CSI Beervelde Grand Prix, 1st at the CSI Mechelen Six Bars, b at the CSI Verbier Six Bars, 1st at the CSIO Sopot Nations Cup in 2010, 4th at the CSIO Sopot Grand Prix, 7th at the CSI Neustadt-Dosse Grand Prix and 9th at the CSI Hannover Grand Prix, to name just a few of his many accomplishments.

On the sire's dam side of the pedigree, Udarco carries one of the most successful bloodlines of Ramiro Z, Millrose XX, and the Reina line, continuing with granddam International show jumper Lereina, and other members of the linage as Krug de Meia Lua, Lucky Loke, Octa, and Lareina Z. This outstanding horse legacy relates to a total of more than 30 approved stallions, including the famous sires Sultan and Eros. Ucalido's sire's grandsire Lugano Van La Roche, a very influential member in Belgian breeding, is known for bringing his rich heritage from Hannover.
