Stakkato Grande W

Stakkato Grande W exhibits athleticism at its best !
Stakkato Grande W carries the bloodlines of many top international show jumping sires.

His sire, Stakkato Gold, is “Hanoverian Stallion of the Year 2015”, and at the same time he has been the absolute number one of all German sires in FN's predicted breeding value statistics for show jumpers for several years. Stakkato Gold is an absolute super star in both breeding and sport: He reached international recognition in shows and as a sire while still a young stallion. He was the best jumper stallion at the Hanoverian licensing in Verden in 2003. He again proved his outstanding talent for jumping at the 30-day test in Prussendorf in 2004 where he was awarded the maximum score of 10.0 several times. Stakkato Gold is now a highly successful international show jumper and a renowned sire of show jumpers.

Dam sire Rio Grande was an acclaimed international show jumper as well, winning several Nations Cups for Team Canada under Eric Lamaze. Rio Grande was the winner of his 100 day stallion test and is one of the all-time top hunter sires in the United States. Due to his multi-faceted success as both a show jumper and sire of top hunters and International Show Jumpers, Rio Grande was inducted into the Canadian Show Jumping Hall of Fame.

Stakkato Grande W was competing lightly in the hunter ring in 2017 and we have very high expectations for his future career in the show ring.

Stakkato Grande W exhibits athleticism at its best: he has an extraordinary form over fences combined with what seems like unlimited scope over fences. Due to his wonderful temperament we expect him to produce horses suitable for the amateur market. We are eagerly awaiting Stakkato Grande W’s first crop of foals to be born in 2018.

Excellent quality semen is available during the breeding season and will be shipped out of Buffalo, NY (as a domestic shipment) to US-based mare owners.
