Can We Stop Saying Germany is Always Better?

I think I’m going to start a campaign to stop saying that German breeders are soooo much better than North American breeders. Here are some thoughts I just wrote, that came up as I was writing on a related topic for an article. I hope it jump-starts a conversation. What do you think? Is it time? ...read more

Successful Stallions in the Young Horse Championships Day 2

We'd like to highlight the stallions in the ribbons in Friday's classes in the Markel/USEF Young & Developing Horse National Championships at the Lamplight Equestrian Center. We'd like to send special congratulations to Hilltop Farm and also to Patricia Becker and Dr. Anne Ramsay. Hilltop's well-known stallion Qredit (Quarterback-Dream Rubina, Dream of Glory) was ridden by Michael Bragdell, and Patty Becker rode Dr. Ramsay's home-bred Oldenburg stallion Freedom (Feuri-Windjammer, Walk on Top). The two shared second place in the Intermediate II test. For full results, including more stallions and more NA-breds, ...read more

Introducing our New 3-Way Stallion Promotion Network

Warmblood Stallions of North America is introducing a whole new approach to stallion promotion. The new online advertising packages combine a variety of ad options across three online platforms. Called “forward-thinking” by one stallion owner, this innovative idea will become fully realized with the launch of the new WarmbloodStallionsNA.com in September, and WSNA is now accepting pre-launch purchases, so businesses can fully benefit from the launch promotions. Contifax

Grand Prix and Hunter Derby Champion!
Contifax is a Contender son from the Ramiro line, combining two outstanding performance lines. Contifax demonstrated his value early in his career, with several first places in tests for young jumpers and continued to the World Cup level. This highly talented Holsteiner Contender son was called the best jumper stallion of his year after his approval.

The son of Calypso II, Contender was one of the most frequented studs of the Holsteiner Association. He completed his achievement test in Adelheidsdorf as the best of his age-group. At the 2006 Holsteiner approvals, Contender had five approved sons, confirming his exceptional position within the Holsteiner breeding program.

Ritual comes from the famous 776 mare line, to which Ramiro, a sire of the century, belongs. Ritual is one of the very few Hanoverian stallions ever licensed for breeding by the Holsteiner Verband. The worldwide dominance of this unique performance line 776 is further documented by numerous sires such as Acorado (State Stud Celle), Calvados I and II, Cortino I and II, Landos, Ramirado (Holsteiner), Captain Incipit, Lord Incipit (Bavaria), Highvalley, Larenco (NL), Lordanos, Rouletto (Oldenburg) and many others.

Since coming to Canada he has continued his winning ways in both the jumper and hunter rings. Contifax earned good ribbons in 6 of 6 Open Jumper classes at the 2014 Royal Manitoba Winter Fair. Contifax went on to win a Canadian Classic Hunter Derby with a score of 110 in 2014.

In 2015 Contifax has won multiple Derbies in the Canadian Hunter Derby Series, including the $15,000 RMSJ Hunter Derby. Contifax finished the 2015 Derby Season as both the Western and Canadian Hunter Derby Series regular season points Champion.
