I Am-W

Direct son of Luidam!
I Am-W is the complete package!

Stunning looks and technique with a super pedigree and excellent mind. His athleticism, flexibility, bascule, and infinite scope were clear early on, but an unfortunate injury as a 5YO ended his competition career. Currently, I Am-W is standing at stud at Kylemore Stud in Co. Galway, IRE, but luckily we are still able to access him here in the US via his frozen semen. He has received raving reviews in Ireland and we expect him to make a mark both there and here in the US with his offspring.

I Am-W is sired by Luidam, who was described by Ireland’s Billy Twomey as “a horse of a lifetime”. Together Luidam and Twomey were on 3 winning Nations Cups teams, including the Aga Khan at Dublin in 2004 where they jumped double clear to secure the win for Team Ireland. They were also 5th at the 2003 European championships, competed at WEG 2006, and were shortlisted for the 2004 Olympics. Luidam was one of the most consistent performers on the European circuit and was known for passing on an easy temperament, strong legs, and a beautiful type.

I Am-W’s dam, Dauphine Libere 111 Z, stems from the damline that produced Winningmood, Chippendale Z, and Richi Rich 111 along with numerus other international competitors. Dauphine’s sire is the great Darco who is one of the most accomplished show jumping sires of all time. He has produced the most offspring competing at Grand Prix in the world, which resulted in leading the World Breeding Federation of Sport Horse (WBFSH) jumping sire rankings for 5 years in a row. He won his first World Cup qualifier in 1988 with Ludo Phillipaerts and together they competed in the 1989 WEG and 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona.
