Successful Stallions in the Young Horse Championships Day 2

We'd like to highlight the stallions in the ribbons in Friday's classes in the Markel/USEF Young & Developing Horse National Championships at the Lamplight Equestrian Center. We'd like to send special congratulations to Hilltop Farm and also to Patricia Becker and Dr. Anne Ramsay. Hilltop's well-known stallion Qredit (Quarterback-Dream Rubina, Dream of Glory) was ridden by Michael Bragdell, and Patty Becker rode Dr. Ramsay's home-bred Oldenburg stallion Freedom (Feuri-Windjammer, Walk on Top). 2x US National Champion & USDF All-Breeds Winner
As a 2-year old, Sternlicht was Reserve Champion for USDF Horse of the Year honors and Champion for All-Breeds awards with a median score over 82%. Sternlicht placed 7th at the USEF Four-Year Old Championships and commandingly won the First Level Championship at the USDF National Finals. This past season he placed 3rd at the USEF National Championships in the FEI Six-Year Old division and is Champion for USDF All-Breeds Awards at Third Level with a median score of 71.463%.

Sternlicht’s sire, Soliman de Hus, earned 137 points in his 70-day test including seven scores of 9 or higher. Soliman has 8 licensed sons to date. Sternlicht’s dam is an eighth generation Elite/SPS Mare. Her sire, Rascalino, was winner of his performance testing in Germany with an overall score of 148.29 and 153.37 points in Dressage.

Sternlicht’s first foals arrived the spring of 2015 and we’re consistently seeing his beautiful modern type, long legs, and exceptional canters. He has sired a number of Premium Foals and Inspection Site Champions. Sternlicht offspring are consistently winning in-hand classes and showing bright promise for future development.
